VO: John McCain says the fundamentals of the economy are strong (show footage of him saying that on five different occasions. Maybe key in Rome burning in the background?) (also show WSJ and other headlines about how bad the economy is, Lehman, Bear Stearns, bailouts, whatever).Sound familiar? (show MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, HECKUVA JOB BROWNIE (with 1-2 secs of agonizing Katrina footage, then morph or montage or split screen McCain and Bush saying the same thing about the fundamentals are strong and finally finish with THE HUG).
Who can you trust to fix this economy? John McCain and the Republicans just want to give us more of the same reckless policies and corporate giveaways. This November, vote Obama-Biden to protect the middle class, balance the budget, and bring prosperity for all, not just some (show greedy fatcats with golden parachutes while nice middle class people have to give up their house).
(Maybe in the extended remix, we could bring back him not knowing how many houses he has? Like, he says the fundamentals are strong, but that's easy for him to say, he has so many houses he doesn't know how many!)

Not really a comment
(although your site is wonderful Mr. Mystery Dem)but rather an idea for another ad:
Black and white still of a run down dirty street with like 3 houses and a trailer up on blocks. Lonesome wind sound in the background.
Sarcastic guy VO- Sarah Palin's executive experience is limited to a town in Alaska with fewer houses than fat cat John McCain owns.
Cut to still of John McCain with crown collaged onto his head at rakish angle.
Even more sarcastic sounding VO- according to McCain the economy is doing 'just fine'. Sure, John if you own entire towns...
With still photo of McCain's head (with crown) still on screen, animate a hand (that could be McCain's) holding a $1,000 bill that is on fire and another hand holding a cigar that he lights with it.
You get the point
I like it, I like it. The line that McCain owns more houses than there are in Wasilla is very clever. And it has the virtue of being false, which is definitely a positive, since the new consensus is that there's no penalty for lying.
But I think attacking Palin -- especially on experience -- is a trap that should be avoided. Focus the fire on McCain, says I.
Maybe some surrogates could use the Wasilla houses zinger?
